Dear friends of the Northland Community,

Early education services are crucial to the development of all children.

Children with special needs and children who are typically developing in our program are learning together. The inclusive environment allows all children at the center to grow and learn from their same age peers, as well as, the teachers in the classroom. Northland Early Education Center practices what experts in child education have come to recognize as truth: children learn through play.

In addition to early education services, NEEC also provides Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy and Special Instruction for children who qualify. The goal of NEEC’s licensed therapists and teachers is to facilitate functional skills that enhance development in all areas. Therapy services are offered both at the preschool and in a home-based setting.

Everything we do relies on the support of the Northland community. The generosity of companies, individuals, parents, educators and volunteers is essential to the services we provide for the families and children in our community.

If you have an interest in furthering the developmental goals of the children in the Northland, there are a variety of ways you can get involved, including assisting with daily activities, helping with special events, or by giving to one of our program needs. You can also read about the latest events at the preschool in our newsletter. If you have questions or would like to arrange a visit to NEEC, please call 816-420-9005.

Each day the children inspire us as they work together to obtain goals that will last a lifetime. We hope you will become inspired to help them succeed.

Thank you for taking the time to join us. We look forward to speaking with you in the future.

Sincerely,

The children, families, staff and Board of Directors at Northland Early Education Center
