Lead The Way Campaign

Northland Early Education Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides early education and therapy services to more than 300 children annually. For nearly 40 years, it has helped countless families by providing an inclusive space, where all children can learn and grow. No child is turned away because of mental, physical, behavioral or developmental ability.

Unlike other early childhood centers, Northland Early Education Center is a nonprofit. Every dollar raised goes directly to providing children with important services. Donations and local funding accounts for more than a third of the operating budget. Support from the community is essential. The number of children with a disability is on the rise across the country.

The U.S. Government reported 1/7th of all children have a developmental disability. By helping these children early, all of Kansas City reaps the rewards. Studies show for every $1 spent on early education and early intervention, the community sees an $8 return from children needing less assistance a they grow. Steps need to be taken now to prepare for the future. The time is now to Lead the Way.
